Albrent, Susan - Ventura
Our beloved mother and wife passed away on March 9, 2015 after a brief battle with leukemia. Susan Albrent known to most as "Susu" was 71 when she went to walk with the angels again. Sue was born in Wausau, Wisconsin on June 6, 1943 to Bernice and Clarence Chamberlain. She graduated from Wausau High school in 1961 where she met, and then married her high school sweetheart, Richard Albrent. They were married for 53 blissful years and had three boys she cherished with all her heart, Jeff (wife Tonya), Mark (wife Mona), and Tim (wife Jamie). Sue has always been a fighter. Despite the loss of both her legs to complications with diabetes and a stroke, it never slowed her down. She continued to be active in creating games at the clubhouse, organizing bunco, Bingo, and Sunday cards with all her supportive friends at the Senior Center in Oxnard. There was barely a game, event, or school function her and Richard ever missed of their 8 grandchildren. You could see Susu rolling around the fields holding her umbrella. She will be missed dearly by her 7 granddaughters; Lacey, Nichole, Chelsie, Ashley, Arianna, Lauren, Olivia, and her only grandson, Nathan. Susan is survived by her only sister, Diane Whitaker (husband Bill) and many nieces and nephews. Susan worked as an office manager for Reed Machines in Ventura for 10 years. The rest of her life was taking care of her family. Susan loved to read, relaxing on the Rincon in her motorhome, baking with her grandchildren, and playing cards. Her illnesses never kept her down for long, and she was always urging Richard to drive her somewhere. Susan never was one for attention, and would rather have people celebrating her life instead of crying over her loss. So she requested no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Catholic Charities or the Leukemia Foundation. The family of Susan Albrent wishes to thank the Victoria Care Center, the amazing hospice nurses, and the incredible hospital staff at St. Johns Hospital for their generous support and caregiving.

He also volunteered with the Special Olympics and as a Jr. High and High School church youth leader. Having a deep love for nature and the outdoors, Tim found great joy in hiking, camping, hunting, fishing and surfing.
