Gary Pat Cheshier, 59, of Ventura, died April 16, 2011, following a year long bout with cancer.
Gary was born Nov. 8, 1951, in Santa Paula and had been a lifelong county resident. Gary was employed at the Ojai Valley Inn as a reservations sales agent and was a member of the Lutheran Church. He enjoyed playing golf, camping and fishing.
He is survived by his father, Cecil Cheshier, of Ventura; brother, Joe Cheshier, of Yreka; and sister, Susan DeLosSantos, of Visalia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Cheshier, in 2010.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura. Condolences may be left at tedmayrfuneralhome.com.

I enjoyed working with Gary at the Ojai Valley Inn before I left in 2002. I had the pleasure working with Dorothy & Lois at the Broadway. May Gary meet his mother and have eternal peace.
