Kenneth Hanft, 88 of Agoura Hills, sadly passed away with his family at his side on June 3rd, 2014.
Ken was born on November 19th, 1925 in Carlstadt, New Jersey and had been a Los Angeles County resident since 1982. Ken served his country in the Navy during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1946. Ken retired after 36 years as the Western Regional Sales Director for RCA. After opening his business Ken fully retired in 2002. Ken was a kind, honorable and truly respectful man who touched all. His greatest loves were traveling and spending time with family and friends. He touched many lives throughout his 88 years as a Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Neighbor and friend.
Ken's legacy of love lives on in his daughter Elizabeth Hanft-Watanabe and her husband Bob, his stepchildren Barbara Carlson (husband Matt), Dan Baughman, Linda McDowell (husband Mike), Denise Taylor as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also, leaves behind his older brother Warren Hanft of Melbourne, Florida.
Ken was preceded in death by his second wife Joan Hanft.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday June 12th, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Jude's Catholic Church, 32032 West Lindero Canyon Road in Westlake, Village, with a burial to follow at Pierce Bother's Valley Oaks, Westlake Village.
