Antonio Mortellaro(1935 - 2014)

(June 15, 1935 - March 1, 2014) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tony Mortellaro on March 1 2014.

Tony was born in Los Angeles, CA and grew up in Burbank, CA. He graduated from John Burroughs KS and attended Glendale College before joining the US Army and proudly serving in Korea.

In 1959 he married Leora (Leigh) and in 1963 they moved to Thousand Oaks with their three children. After working for Pacific Bell for several years Tony became involved in the Conejo Valley real estate market and served one year as board president during his lengthy career. After leaving real estate he worked as an HR manager for many years before officially retiring in 2008.

Throughout his life Tony wore many "hats" including his involvement with Conejo Cowboys Youth Football, Lions Club, Rotary Club and the Oak Leaf Music Festival.

In addition to spending time with his family and beloved dog Nicky, Tony enjoyed reading, music, travel, cooking, marathon running (5), riding his motorcycle (which included a 4,200 mile solo cross country trip n 2011) and will be remembered for his ability to MacGyver a solution to almost any problem.

He was a proud supporter of the USC Trojans, LA Dodgers and the US Military.Tony is survived by his wife Leora children William Mortellaro (Deborah), Leanne Bossard (Carlos Sosa), Nancianne Ng (Jim) grandchildren Kate Densmore (Bilan), Michael Mortellaro, Derek Ng, Audrey Ng; great-grandchildren Ella Densmore, Anna Densmore; his brother Cario Mortellaro and family; as well as additional extended family members, friends and colleagues.

Private memorial services are planned for a future date.
