Mary Ann Goodman, 61, died April 15, 2013, at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, Idaho, of a sudden illness. She was born June 10, 1951, in Burbank, Calif., the daughter of Adrian B. and Ann (Christenson) Goodman. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She was kind, beautiful, artistic, intelligent and had a great sense of humor.
Mary Ann grew up in Encino, Calif. She graduated from Birmingham High School, Van Nuys, Calif., in 1969. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Art and in Education at Cal State Northridge and a Master's Degree in Social Work at UCLA
. She lived in Ventura and was a teacher at Sequoia Middle School in Newbury Park in the 1970s. For most of the past 30 years, Mary Ann lived in Idaho.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her father; four sisters: Elizabeth Brandenburg of Haleiwa, Hawaii, Lynnsey Goodman of San Diego, Calif., Christine Nuttall of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and Diane Langmuir of Palisades, N.Y.; one brother: John Goodman of Sebastopol, Calif.; and seven nieces and nephews: Jesse, Kelsey, Joe, Robby, Elyse, Charlie and Molly whom she loved dearly. Her family cherished her and she will be deeply missed.
