Bertha Stull Horn passed away Oct. 5, 2010, in her Camarillo home from heart failure.
Bertha was born in 1921 in Enid, Okla., to the Hon. and Mrs. Arthur A. Stull. She attended Northeastern State Teacher's College in Alva, Okla., majoring in languages. In 1941, she married Hugh. E. Horn, deceased, and moved with her family to Camarillo in 1961.
She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Lahoma Parker, and her three daughters, Barbara Metzger, Mary Horn Wood, and Peggy Tranovich and their families, including grandchildren, Greg, Julie, James, and Anja. She was a devoted member of the Camarillo United Methodist Church and an avid supporter of its bell choir.
She belonged to the RG Chapter of P.E.O. and was a member of Las Posas Republican Women Federated.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, at the Camarillo United Methodist Church, 291 Anacapa Drive. Donations in her memory may be made to Camarillo United Methodist Church. Services under the direction of Griffin Family Funeral Chapel, 1075 Daily Drive, Camarillo, 482-1166.
