Jason S. Respo, 57 of Fillmore, was tragically taken from us on Dec. 15, 2010.
He worked as a commercial fisherman for over 20 years, which he greatly enjoyed. He also had a love for restoring cars, football, boxing being with friends, but most of all talking and playing with his children.
He is survived by his children: Jesse Respo, Cheanno Respo, Angela Respo and Amber Respo; grandchildren: Cecelia Respo, Martez Respo, Kashayla Respo and Shauntea Respo; fiance and friend: Denise Proudfoot; ex-wife and friend: Angela Macaluso; and sibling: Del Respo
A viewing will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Skillin-Carroll Chapel, 600 N. Central Ave., Fillmore. A rosary and mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Fillmore at 9:30 a.m. There is a memorial fund set up for him at any Rabobank: Jason Respo Memorial Fund. Arrangments under the direction of Funeraria del angel Stetler Mortuary, 525-5595.

My Uncle Jason had always been an interesting guy. He always had advice on life to give me and I will always cherish the moments I had with him. Rest In Peace Uncle Jason, You'll always remain in my heart.
