Dear mom,
I want to tell you that I extremely miss you & I will never forget you. To me this all still feels like a nightmare and I'm just waiting to wake up from. but I know when it's my chance to spread my wings and be reunited with you is the day I will no longer live the nightmare. My deareast Nina. I still can't believe this happen. It feels like a horrible nightmare. You have been there for me since day #1. It was with shock and sadness that I opened the VC Star to find Vickies obituary. I had the pleasure of working with Vickie for several years at Golden West Dental and then JHC Benefits. My heart is truly broken as Vickie was truly one of the most respectable woman I have ever known. She was and always will be a special angel and Im grateful for having her in my life. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family.

My deepest condolences to the Cano & Estrada families. Vickie was the kindest, loving & one of a kind person. I met Vickie when she worked next door to me. At that time she was pregnant with Estevan. Years later we reunited and this time I had the pleasure to work with her at Golden West Dental. You will be our special Angel. Hugs & kisses my friend until we meet again. love you!

My heart breaks for the Cano and Estrada family. Your Vickie was a special, one of a kind, genuine lady. She never had a bad thing to say about anybody, and always had a positive view on life. She loved her family tremendously and I remember when she was pregnant with her daughter she was so so happy. It has been a while since I've seen Vickie but I'm truly going to miss that angel here on earth who now is an angel in heaven.

Vickie llego a la Escuela Secundaria Haydock en el 2011. No tuvo que pasar mucho tiempo para cuando estudiantes, padres de familia y empleados en la escuela estuviésemos encantados de tenerla entre nosotros. Su siempre trato amable, cordialidad y profesionalismo eran siempre reflejados en todos. Vickie siempre agradecía hasta por el más insignificante detalle y principalmente daba gracias a Dios porque decía que “cada día era una nueva oportunidad de ser feliz y hacer felices a los demás”.
La Escuela Haydock, nunca volverá a ser la misma sin Vickie, pero estoy seguro que su espíritu siempre permanecerá entre todos nosotros, ya que ella siempre manifestó su complacencia de trabajar aquí.
A la familia Cano y Estrada, mis mas sentido pésame, Dios les de la fortaleza para seguir adelante, y un muy pronto les traiga la paz y resignación.
Vickie, gracias por tanto cuanto nos diste a los que tuvimos el privilegio de conocerte y trabajar contigo. Las lagrimas no son suficientes para reemplazar todo el cariño que nos diste, por eso te mantendremos en nuestros corazones por siempre. Descansa en Paz!

Vickie and I worked together back in the 80's at VIP and she was always so sweet and kind. We were all like a family there and we have so many great memories. I was so nice when we all reconnected and especially celebrating her birthday with her, something I will never forget and will always treasure. You will be missed by so many of us.
