Alejandra Abinoman Obituary

Alejandra Lacaros Abinoman, age 93, a 25-year resident of Oxnard, died at home on Monday, Oct. 4, 2010 from natural causes. She had been bed ridden since a stroke more than 11 years ago.

She was born on Sept. 1, 1917 in Masbate, Philippines. She and her husband, Anacleto, immigrated from the Philippines to Mountain View, Calif., in 1985, and then moved to Oxnard where they resided with her daughter Belen, Belen's husband Roger Bingham, and her granddaughter Sherry. Alejandra and her husband became U.S. Citizens in 1991.

Preceded in death by her oldest son, Adolfo, she is survived by her husband, Anacleto Abinoman; by four daughters, three sons, 23 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be at between 4 and 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 14 and 15 at the Funeraria Conrad-Carroll with a Rosary at 6 p.m. each evening and the Eulogy at 7 p.m. Friday. A funeral Mass for Alejandra will be held at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 at the Mary, Star of the Sea Catholic Church and she will be interred at the Santa Clara Cemetery following Mass. A reception following interment will be at the City Buffett located at Highway One and Statham Boulevard.
