(1935 - 2010)

Arlen (Chuck) Synovec was born in Pierce County Nebraska to the union of Charles Synovec and Louella Feddern Synovec. He attended schools in Pierce County and Graduated from Pierce High School in 1953. That same year he joined the Navy and was trained as a welder while serving in the Sea-Bees, stationed in Port Hueneme. In 1960 he married Joyce Scurlock Synovec and they had three children, David, Derrick (wife Tammy), and Theresa Synovec Troxell (Husband Ron).

He is survived by his five grandchildren, Kelly, Ronnie, Julia, Dylan, and Owen. He leaves behind his two brothers, Myron and Wayne, and his sister, Donna, who all reside in Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Louella Synovec.

The family would like to thank the caring and kind folks at Oxnard Family Circle and the compassionate and dedicated nurses and caregivers of Pro Care Hospice of Oxnard.
