Barbara Lawson Obituary

We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Niece and Friend.

She was born in Chilton, Texas. At the age of nine, she and her family moved to Canoga Park, Calif. After graduating from Canoga Park High School, she married Duane Lawson and moved to Simi Valley where her two sons, Daniel Lee and Jonathan Wayne were born. A few years after, her and Duane divorced and she moved to Tionesta, Calif. She lived in Tionesta for the past eight years and it is where she passed away.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Redden and Dessie Reeves; two brothers, Frankie and Roy Lee Reeves.

She is survived by her sons; Daniel Lee Lawson and Jonathan Wayne, wife Nga Lawson and 4 grandchildren; Jessica Lawson, Dylan Lawson, Gillian Lawson and Ian Lawson. Brothers; David Reeves and wife Bobbie of Simi, Jack Reeves and wife Coe, Sister; Joyce Hayden, Boyfriend; Dennis Rough Sr. and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

There will be a memorial at 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct 30 at Centerpoint Church, 2369 Royal Ave, Simi Valley, CA.
