Danny Saiz (age 59) died peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010.
Although he was born in Fresno on Nov. 23, 1950, he was considered a native son of Ventura, having spent his whole life here. He was everyone's favorite bartender, with a heart of gold and a wicked sense of humor. He loved having good times with family and friends. He will be forever missed but not forgotten.
He is survived by his mother, Esperanza Cardona; partner, Diana Autrey; his sisters, Virginia Valdevia, Rosie Gutierrez, Tina Cardona; his brother, Aert Cardona; his children, Rex Saiz, Danny Saiz, Amanda Saiz, and Paul Peete; four grandchildren and lots of other wonderful family.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Saiz, and his fathers, Raul Saiz and Domingo Cardona.
Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at Sacred Heart Church in Ventura. Memorial Service will held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16 at Perez Family Chapel in Camarillo, reception to follow.

What up Amigo. Well what can I say other then I will miss you giving me crap and calling me BIG HEAD everytime you see me. We shared lots of beers, laughs, and family and friends.....and you are on your way to see alot of them now. Say hi to my folks and to the Goose man and the rest of the Moose family. I Miss You so very much and I know that I know have a STAR watching over me. I remember all the great times we had at the pictachio house and i can still hear the kids yelling grandma here comes danny saiz all my babies loved you so much because of the way you were with them they felt the love you showed them.
