David St. Denis, 69, passed away on Nov. 8, 2010 after suffering from a stroke. He died in the hospital surrounded by family and friends.
David graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a Bachelor's degree in Criminology, and worked for 25 years as a fraud investigator. He was a proud member of the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. David loved to make people laugh and was quick with a story. He had a love for sailing and all types of music. David loved children and dogs, and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first grandchild in December.
David is survived by his loving wife Mary of 29 years, and his two sons, Jim and Dennis.
The viewing is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14, followed by the Rosary at 7 p.m. at the Griffin Family Funeral Chapel in Camarillo. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 15 at St. Mary Magdalen Church on 25 Las Posas Road on the corner of Las Posas and Crestview in Camarillo. The services on Monday will be followed by a reception at his son's house in Camarillo.

I became friends with Dave when we played football at CCHS - I played center & he was quarterback. He was a fierce competitor & a great guy & teammate!
I last saw Dave & Mary at a jazz gig at Mike Dribben's restaurant in Camarillo several years ago.
My thots & prayers are with the St.Denis family.
