October 5, 2010 Encarnacion Isaac's (AKA Annie or Aning) life was a shining example of one who worked hard and also played hard. She was born on March 23, 1942 in the Philippines, Pili Camarines Sur. She was an RN nurse for 44 years. Intelligent, ambitious, savvy and generous, she was also passing on the gift of a nursing education to her niece Lulu Federis Royo. She enjoyed ballroom dance for many years with the 20/20 Club. A love of golf and international travel has taken her on many exciting adventures. Annie valiantly battled cancer from all angles, with her medical expertise, a positive attitude and her deep spiritual faith. She prayed for the healing in Lourdes France and then bought herself Coach Purse in Paris- as shopping was her favorite sport. We will miss her sweet lyrical voice, cute wit, occasional stubbornness, wisdom, support and love of life. She will always be our Inspiration Incarnate, our Inspiration Encarnacion! Annie was preceded in death by her husband Felix Isaac; son Andrew Isaac; brothers Edgar and Mamerto Jr. Federist.
She is survived by son Alan Isaac (wife Lori Montoya); daughter Audrey Isaac Lokken (husband Ben Lokken); granddaughters, Lei Lani, Alana, Maya, Kira; brothers Edmundo, Antonio and Artemio Federis; sisters Estrella Perez and Ma-lourdes Remiter.
A vigil will be held on Monday, October 11 at 10 a.m.-9 p.m. at Conrad-Carroll in Oxnard. Rosary along with Prayer Service will be on Monday, October 11 at 7 p.m. at Conrad Carroll. Funeral service will be on Tuesday October 12 at 12 p.m. at St. Anthony's Church, with burial at Ivy Lawn.

Dear Alan and Audrey,
My deepest condolences to you both. Your mom was a very kind person and was always nice to us. I did not know about the funeral until late so I'm very sorry I was not in attendance. Please let us know if you need anything.

I worked with Annie at the Ventura Correctional Facility. She was the best nurse ever. She was always happy and smiling. I loved her laugh. I am going to miss Annie. Her spirit unlike any other I have met. She is truly an inspiration and I will always remember her.

I am very sorry to read about Annie's passing. I worked with her in the 70's with the younger hearing handicapped clients at Camarillo State. I could always count on a great day when Annie was working. She was always cheerful and a pleasure to work with. She demonstrated such tremendous courage with the passing of her young son, Andrew. She was a wonderful person.
I am very sorry for your loss.
