Born Sept. 2, 1970, in Glendale, he grew up in Camarillo and graduated from Rio Mesa High School in 1988. He settled in Burbank with Cyrena Vladish Bortolott, his wife of 14 years. Larry worked in the special effects industry in Hollywood for two decades and was an avid airplane and flight videographer for the Commemorative Air Force and the Reno Air Show. Larry sought to bring laughter to everyone he met.

Larry is survived by his wife, Cyrena, of Burbank; mother and father, Linda and Richard Bortolott, of Oxnard; brother, John (Lisa) Bessolo, and nephew, Frank Bessolo of Seattle, Wash.; sister, Aurora (Jeff "Bones") Crosetti-Thomas, and niece, Zola Thomas of Portland, Ore.; sister, Tina Bortolotti of Simi Valley; sister, Elise (Sid) McClure of Port Hueneme; and brother, Steve Bortolotti of Owasso, Okla.; sister-in-law, Larissa Bortolotti of Owasso, Okla.; and nieces, Olivia and Lillian Bortolotti of Owasso, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Shasta Addison.

A memorial is planned for Saturday, Oct. 30. Location and details will be shared with family and friends through: [email protected].

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Cyrena Vladish Bortolott Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank Branch or can be sent to Wells Fargo, PO Box 3488 Portland, OR 97208, or to Cyrena's mother Linda Vladish at 6306 Spyglass Ave., Banning, CA 92220.

It is difficult to express the saddness we feel. We both remember when Larry told us about his job and how happy he was. It is bad when someone dies but worse when he or she is so young. We are sorry for his whole family having to undergo such sadness for everything that has happened. God Bless all. Bob and Rita Thoms
