Marcelo Barquin Obituary
Marcelo was born Jan. 16, 1946 in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico and was a resident of Ventura County for 47 years from El Paso, Texas.Marcelo was a mechanic for over 40 years. He loved being with family and friends or sitting on his recliner watching sports on TV.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eloy Barquin; mother, Angela Barquin; brother, Juan Barquin; and sister, Virginia Barquin.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Bernardina Barquin; son, Oscar Barquin and wife Guadalupe; son, Eloy Barquin and wife Diana; son, Andrew Barquin and wife Hilda; daughter, Angela Rodriguez and husband James; nine grandchildren; four brothers; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Vigil will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 26 at Funeraria del Angel, 401 W. Channel Islands Blvd., Oxnard. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 26 at Funeraria del Angel. Funeral mass will be held at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27 at Mary Star of the Sea Church.
