Richard Garcia Obituary

Richard Dick Garcia left us to be with the Lord on Nov. 18, 2010.

He was born in Oakland on Oct. 8, 1931. When he was around the age of 10 he moved from Oakland to Ventura to be close to his grandmother, Atanacia Ramirez. In recent years he lived in Chino Hills with his family, wife, Ronda Garcia, and children, Ryan Ray and ReAnn. He also leaves behind three children from his first wife Nita: Rick, Sherry and Toni Lynn, as well as two sisters, Alice Diaz and Laura Brown.

He loved to dance, tell jokes, play golf and jog.

We will miss him dearly. He is now at peace with his father, Esteban Garcia, and mother, Mary R. Garcia, of Ventura.

Alice & Laura,
Our heartfelt sympathy to you both and his family for your loss of "Dickie". He was always a friendly and fun playmate when we were neighbors on Cedar Street and throughout all our time in Ventura. He will not be forgotten. May he rest in peace.
God Bless you during this difficult time.
