Jan. 11, 1934_ Dec. 25, 2010 Bob was originally from New Jersey, where he met and married his wife Audrey.
They moved to California in 1956, and settled in Camarillo in 1970. Bob was a mechanical engineer and spent most of his career working at the Point Mugu Naval Air weapons Station. In retirement, Bob spent much of his time playing golf and volunteering with the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo and FOOD Share of Oxnard.
Bob was predeceased by his wife Audrey, and is survived by his three children Mark, Cathy (Botti), and John; sister-in-law Judy (Jon), niece Jill (Tom), nephew Jeremy, and the greatest friends in the world.
Bob will be remembered for the many lessons he taught us all. Bob died after a long-term illness.
Much heartfelt thanks and gratitude are owed to his nurse Muriel Wilfert and Mission Terrace Convalescent Hospital staff for their care and kind support. Private services will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo, Ventura County FOOD Share, or the charity of your choice.

Bob was my first supervisor when I started working at PMTC. Ever since, he was a great friend and fellow-employee and he helped me a lot getting things done in the Aerial Targets programs. Though I did not see him for many years, he was always a friend. God bless you, Bob.

Just a note to say how much I appreciated Bob as a friend... Will always remember our time at work, at grad school at USC, jogging and just chatting - he was a true friend and I will miss him. Neil McCarthy

Everyone loved Bob because he was an all around good guy. He made us laugh! We'll miss his "golf tips" and the many games that we played together. We will continue to cherish his and Audrey's friendship over many, many years.

Bob gave so much energy and was a tireless supporter of schools, education and so many programs for kids in Camarillo. He will be missed!

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the Taylor family. We were golfing buddies of Bob and Audrey for about 30 years through the Rockwell Golf Club and some mutual friends. It was a joy to play and socialize with them. Blessings to the family.

Bob was a good friend, and a comrade-in-arms in the Targets Program at Point Mugu. I've missed his humor and seeing him on his noon-time jogs since our retirement. I'm sure he's happy with Audrey in Heaven.

I first met Bob in 1963 at Kaiser hospital in Fontana. We used to play catch, hit golf balls and go swimming in the ocean. I miss him a lot and think about him every day. I've heard he's been seen on the course lately and shootin a 5-handicap. John Taylor

It was at least 10 years ago that Bob began his volunteer work as a tutor at the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo. At the time I was their Volunteer Coordinator and had the pleasure to work with Bob for several years. During that time he helped many kids with their math, spelling, reading homework. Bob was so proficient at math that often the other tutors consulted him! Bob and I crossed paths a couple of times, once late last year. He told me he was still volunteering his services at the Club. A remarkable and dedicated man. His favorite quote:"One should count each day as a separate life." Marcus Aurelius.

I first met Bob in 1985 when I was assigned administration of the BQM-74 program at DCMA Oxnard. I went to work for Targets at PMTC at the urging of Bob. It was my honor to call Bob both a friend and co-worker. Bob will be missed greatly.
