Ruth Fujiwara Obituary

Ruth Fujiwara, 83, of Oxnard, passed away Oct. 22, 2010 at West Hills Hospital from an illness. Ruth was born on Aug. 9, 1927 in Honolulu, Hawaii, and had been a resident of Ventura County for 35 years.

Ruth, in her younger years, worked as a security for the United States Army for 30 years. Ruth very much loved her family and dedicated her life to her two beautiful daughters. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Kiyoaki Fujiwara. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Dawn Cagle; daughter, Scarlett Fujiwara; and granddaughter, Tiffany Cagle.

Memorial service will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5 at FDA Conrad-James Reardon Mortuary, 401 W. Channel Islands Blvd., Oxnard. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Funeraria del Angel Conrad-James Reardon, 401. W. Channel Islands Blvd., Oxnard, 487-4911.

Ruth was a good neighbor. She always would give me candy & would always say Hi when I would go by. She loved me & I loved her.

Ruth, started out as our neighbor but we ended up being family. Taking care of one another sharing recipes &family meals her favorites were Sweet Tamales during X-mas time and pineapple upside down cake. We will miss her dearly

Ruth was a great neighbor, she always would give me candy when I visited her, she would always tell me Hi when I saw her outside she was a good person to everyone. I will miss her.
