Samuel Pinto Obituary
It is with great sadness and love in our hearts that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle, Samuel Pinto, on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010 at the age of 88.
Samuel was born on Sept. 3, 1922 in Chicago, Ill. He moved to California after World War II and married his beloved wife, Anna. He was a retired meat cutter and moved to Leisure Village in 1994. Some of Samuel's hobbies were spending time with his family, going to Las Vegas, gardening, and watching the Dodgers.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna, and his two brothers, Albert and Joe.
He is survived by his four children, Rachelle Howry (husband Dennis), Joyce Mousseau (husband Ken), David Pinto (wife Margaret), and Betty Jackson (husband Robert). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Scott Jacobson, Lisa Ward (husband Bob), Teva and Siri Howry, Eric, Brian, Andrea, and Laura Jackson, Jasper and Micah Ward.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7 at Eden Memorial Park, 11500 Sepulveda Blvd., Mission Hills.
