Shirley Floyd, longtime Oxnard resident, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010 of complications from a stroke. She was 93.
Moving to California from Minneapolis in 1929, she worked extensively in financial services retiring as a senior loan officer for Cal Fed. She loved people, traveling, dancing and gardening. Shirley will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, William Connell of New York City; granddaughter, Safiya Martinez of San Francisco; and many adoring friends.
The family would like to thank Country Villa Oxnard Manor for the loving care they gave Shirley for so many years and Livingston Memorial Hospice for their support during her final days.
