Tim was born in Woodland Hills on March 14, 1991, and came home to live his life in Simi Valley. He attended Atherwood Elementary, Hillside Middle School and Royal and Apollo High Schools. He was actively involved in theater and BMX Clubs as well as The Boys and Girls Club and Viking football. Tim had passions for dirt biking, camping and fishing, cooking, golfing, snowboarding and bike riding. Above all, though, he lived for spending time with his friends and enjoying life. Tim listened to all kinds of music, from country to rap to rock and roll. He liked any movie that could make him laugh, but his favorite of course was The Fast and The Furious.
While waiting to serve our country and enlist in the Marines, Tim worked hard in construction alongside his dad, Thor, everyday. He was always running through the kitchen asking his mom, Keelie, what great things were being mixed up that day and if he could help. He grew up close to his older sister, Melissa, never passing up an opportunity to tag along while teasing her and her friends. Tim and his stepbrother, Thor, grew up like any other boys, butting heads, but truly loved each other as brothers.
The love Tim had for his family, friends and their families is evident to all who knew him. He always wore his love on his sleeve. Tims infectious smile and kind eyes will be missed.
Tim, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend, is survived by his mother and father, Keelie and Thor Thorsteinsson; his sister, Melissa; brother, Thor; grandfather, James Walker; his many aunts and uncles, cousins and his many friends. We love you Tim.
Services will be held at the Cornerstone Church, 2080 Winifred St., Simi Valley at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2.
