William Jack Garcia, Jr., 23, of Oak View passed away Friday evening July 6, 2012. Will was born May 23, 1989 in Ventura and was a lifetime county resident.

Will was a jokester and liked to make people laugh. He was always considerate, loveable, thoughtful and always thinking about other people. He enjoyed drive in movies and spending time with his family and fiance, Luisandra.

Will is survived by his fiance Luisandra Salazar; mother and step father Isabel and David James of Oak View; father William "Jack" Garcia, Sr., of Ventura; brothers Leo Garcia of Ventura and Omar James of Oak View; sister Makayla James of Oak View; cousins Isaiah Coleman and Sierra Walsh of Oak View; grandparents Carlos and Mary Garduno of Oak View; aunts Lisa Garduno of Oak View, Shelly Garduno of Santa Barbara, Sonya Delgado of Santa Barbara and Kathy Garcia of Ventura; uncles Charles Garduno of Oak View, Mike Garcia and his wife Betty of Las Vegas, Danny Garcia of Oak View, Tom Laros of Oak View, Andy Garcia of Ventura, Frank Garcia of Ventura, John Garcia of Ventura; mother and father-in-law Luis and Rosa Salazar of Ventura, sister-in-law Paula Salazar of Ventura. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday July 12, 2012 at the San Buenaventura Mission, Ventura. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday July 13, 2012 also at the San Buenaventura Mission. Burial will follow at the Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura. Friends may visit from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday at the San Buenaventura Mission.
