1985 - 2013 With heavy hearts and profound sadness, the family of Brandon Michel shares with you that Brandon passed away suddenly on March 14, 2013, in San Angelo, Texas. He was 27 years old.
Born and raised in Ventura, Calif., Brandon graduated from Buena High School and attended Ventura College. He graduated from Northwest Lineman College, in Denton, Texas, and was employed by Southeast Power Company as an Electrical Lineman Apprentice. The friendships he made while working and living in Texas brought him an amazing amount of happiness. He loved his job and the Texas lifestyle including: country western music, fishing and hunting with his Blue Point Hound "Boomer" by his side.
Brandon was passionate about all he endeavored, his magnetic personality matched only by his giving heart, many friends and a strong foundational faith in the Lord.
Brandon is survived by Sandra Masiel (mother) and Michael Michel (father) and their respective families including: Sandra's husband, Paul Masiel and their son, Collin Masiel; Michael's wife, Rhonda Michel and their three sons, Evan, Jacob and Christopher Michel. Brandon is also survived by grandparents, Fran Douglas, Stefan and Eileen Masiel, Betty Michel, Dawna Anderson and Darrell Anderson; uncles and aunts, Steven and Jeanne Michel, Duane and Denise Gragg, Ted and Tammi Michel, Marc and Kacie Michel, Matt and Sue Michel, Ron and Devonne Gibson, Darrell and Tara Anderson, Rodney and Faith Anderson, Mike and Joanne Douglas, and Paul and Karen Barganier; as well as cousins, Douglas Family-Jason, Julianne, Diana; Barganier Family- Reed, Becca, Callie; Gragg Family-Justin, Kendra, Joel and Carrie; Michel Families -Scott, Sarah, Jordan, Alexandra, Jerrod, Josh, Amy, Morgan, Caitlan and Luke; Gibson Family- Codie, Conner, Cameron; and Anderson Families- Justin, Sierra, Kaden, Dylan, Derek.
A celebration of life will be held for Brandon at South Coast Fellowship Church, 4050 Market Street, Ventura, 11 a.m., Saturday, March 23. Immediately following the service, there will be a Texas BBQ and time for fellowship and sharing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the: Brandon T.
