Garrett Travis Obituary

Garrett Sherman Travis Garrett Sherman Travis, 42, of Foster City, CA, passed January 15th, 2013, at his home in Foster City. Garrett was born on April 30, 1970 in Tulare, CA. He is the son of Bill and Trudi Travis. He attended Tulare Union High School in Tulare, CA. He continued his education at Fresno State College majoring in Crop Science. While at Fresno State, he was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. The greatest joy of his life was being able to spend time with his son, wife and his step children. He is survived by his wife, Jackie and son Conner and step children, Jessica, Elizabeth and Robert. Garrett is also survived by his parents Bill and Trudi Travis and sister, Sara Travis Stone and Sara's husband, Todd Stone. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ormal and Ruth Runyon and paternal grandparents, Velma Shepard and Lester Travis. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Central Coast Funds for Children (or CCFC) to: P O Box 1046, San Luis Obispo, CA 93406 (www.centralcoastfundsforchildren.org).
