Ann Munn

Ann Munn Ann Munn passed away on November 8, 2012, at the age of 85. Ann was born to George and Vera Allen in Sutter Creek, California, where she spent her childhood on the family cattle ranch and she graduated from high school as class valedictorian and was a county tennis champion. She attended U.C. Berkeley and then U.C. Davis. Ann married her college sweetheart Reed Munn in 1947 - they lived in Orosi until 1967, when they moved to their citrus ranch near Orange Cove. She was a homemaker and the ranch bookkeeper. Ann enjoyed reading, hiking, gardening, and traveling (throughout the United States and to the British Isles and New Zealand). She was generous, resourceful, artistic, and intelligent and was a wonderful mother. Ann is greatly missed by her husband Reed, her five children and their spouses - John (Shelley), Sarah (Hal), Jennifer (Roberto), Dana (Cynthia), and Andrew, and her eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 499 Sixth Street, Orange Cove.
