Claudine Niday Krohn

Claudine Niday Krohn Claudine Niday Krohn (46) passed away peacefully, with her husband Dennis by her side, on January 10th, 2013. Claudine was born in Tulare to Gene and Bernice Niday on November 19, 1966. She graduated from Tulare Union High School in 1984. After high school, Claudine married the love of her life Dennis, in 1993, and settled in Tulare. Claudine enjoyed a successful 16 year career with Cigna Health Care in Visalia as a client advocate. She was an active member of St. Aloysius Church, where she was an RCIA sponsor and CCD teacher for several years. Claudine shared the love of baseball with her husband, by volunteering her time as a little league team mom. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009, Claudine became an active participant in the Tulare Relay for Life where she was able to share her kindness, and compassion with others. She was also a two-time recipient, and passionate supporter of HOW (Helping One Woman) of Tulare. Claudine loved spending time with her sisters and enjoyed their many adventures, and crafting weekends. She cherished the time spent with her many friends and family, her laughter and presence will be forever missed. Claudine is survived by her husband, Dennis of 19 years, sisters Francine (Larry) Simmons, Jennine (Ken) Searcy, Chris (Jim) Price, countless family members, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Gene and Bernice. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 16th, from 1-4 p.m. at Millers Funeral Home, 151 North H St., Tulare with the recitation of the rosary at 5:30 p.m. at St. Aloysius Church, 125 E. Pleasant Ave., Tulare. Mass will be held on Thursday, January 17th, 10:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church with burial immediately following at Tulare Cemetery North. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Miller's Funeral Home in Claudine's name.
