Darell W. Moore

Darell W. Moore Darell W. Moore was born March 11, 1948 in Tulare, Ca. at the Tulare General Hospital. He passed away January 14, 2013 in Tulare, Ca. at the Tulare District Hospital. His parents Leola Moore Caswell and Sam Moore are deceased. He has three sisters, Regina Makinson of Texas, Linda Anderson of Arkansas, and Brenda Hodges of Texas. At the age of 16, he joined the Army and served in the Vietnam War. After retiring he drove interstate trucks until moving to Tulare where he met Phyllis Smith, whom he married on December 28th, 1978. He worked at BV Custom Chopping in Tulare until he returned to his passion of trucking. He enjoyed camping, wood working and gardening. He is survived by his wife Phyllis, who resides in Tulare. His sons Wesley Moore of Texas, Christopher Smith of Sacramento and, Ryan Smith and his wife Jaime Smith as well as his grandchildren, Chyenne Smith and Dakota Smith of Tulare, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be 9 am to 12 pm, Friday, January 18, 2013 at Peers Lorentzen Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be at 1:30 pm, also on Friday at Tipton-Pixley Cemetery.
