Dorothy Agnes Fidler

Dorothy Agnes Fidler Dorothy Agnes Fidler, passed away Jan. 5th, 2013 at Tulare District Hospital. She was born to Earl and Allie Hifner and was raised in Visalia. She moved to Long Beach working as a riveter on battleships during WW2. There she married, had one child and divorced. She moved back to Visalia with daughter Judy and six years later met and married Paul J. Fidler of Fairplay, Mo. They had sons, Shelby and Jimmy and daughter Paula. She had a long career as a loving wife, mother and homemaker. They spent their lives together exploring the USA and traveling with friends and family, until Pauls death in 1985. Dorothy was an avid bowler to the age of 90. She was a member of the Western Star Rebekah Lodge #39, Native Daughters of the Golden West and the Order Pocahontas. She loved playing cards and traveling. She is survived by Judy & Robert Askins, Visalia, Shelby & Marmie Fidler, Tulare, Paula Gauthier, Buckeye, Ariz, Jim & Sally Fidler, Tulare. 11 grandchildren, P.J. & Debi Fidler, Hollywood, Tim & Karina Fidler, Ramona, Ca. Michael & Tammi Gauther, Peoria, Az. Jennifer Kramling, Las Vegas, N.V. Jason & Jennifer Crook, Tulare, Amanda & Michael Lettie, Buckeye, Az., Sam Fidler (deceased), Kim Fidler, Tulare, Ca. Christopher Gauthier, Flagstaff, Az., Jamie Fidler, Temecula, CA., Katie Fidler, Tulare, and 5 great grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at Tulare District Cemetery, 900 East Kern Ave.. Tulare, Ca. Arrangements are entrusted to Miller's Tulare Funeral Home.
