James (Jim) D''Acquisto

James (Jim) D'Acquisto James (Jim) D'Acquisto - our loving and kind husband, father, and grandpa went to be with our Lord on the morning of March 20th, 2013, the first day of spring. He was born August 26, 1946 in Monterey, CA to Nuncio James and Delores Heidelbach-D'Acquisto. He was the oldest brother of Ron, Tom, Dan and Renee D'Acquisto. He graduated from Junipero Memorial High School in Monterey 1964. He attended Monterey Peninsula College and then joined the US Air force as a jet mechanic during the Vietnam war. James married Julie Clarke on March 29, 1969 at Carmel Mission Basilica. They celebrated 44 beautiful years together. The first 4 years of marriage were spent in Europe. Following his military service he pursued his passion for photography, his gifted ability to fix cars, and his love of computer technology. Jim and Julie have 3 children: Josh, Sandy, and Nick. Jim is survived by his wife Julie; Josh and his wife Shannon with their three children Sydney, Austin, and Jordan; Sandy and her three children Summer, Audrey, and Luke; and Nick and his wife Sara with their three children Anna, Halley, and Asher. We miss him greatly, but hold on to the truth that we will see him soon. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic church in Visalia, CA on Saturday, April 6th at 11am.
