Lois Riesner

Lois Mae Riesner Secretary Lois Mae Riesner, 90, a resident of Visalia, born November 26, 1922 to Mary M. and Menno R. Schmidt in Woodlake, CA and passed away in Visalia on December 18, 2012. After graduating from Exeter High School, she attended College of the Sequoias where she met and later married Robert M. Riesner. Her life's work was that of a homemaker where she was a devoted wife, wonderful mother and caring sister. She left a legacy of love equaled only by that of her late husband Robert. Lois is survived by her daughter Linda Phillips and son-in-law Richard of Goleta; son Ronald Riesner and daughter-in-law Trendy of Davis; son Douglas Riesner and daughter-in-law Nancy of Visalia; her grandchildren Marcy Riordan of Ramona; Erin Sprong of Ramona; Alissa Peterson of San Francisco; Kyle Phillips of Goleta; Meredith Riesner of Davis; Christopher Riesner of San Francisco and four great-grandchildren. Lois was preceded in her death by her husband of 54 years, Robert Riesner; her brothers Weldon and Wilson Schmidt; her sisters Dorothy Chase, Bernice Griggs, and Florence Wood, and her granddaughter Tara Riesner. As requested, a private graveside service for family members will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at Visalia District Cemetery. Condolences may be e-mailed to info@salseranddillard.com
