Miguel Leon

Miguel León Miguel León, 49, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013. He was born on November 3, 1963 to Miguel and Concepción León in Mexicali, Baja California. He was the second oldest of 10 children. On February 14, 1981, he met his bride to be Elizabeth Gaona. Shortly after meeting, their love blossomed and they were married in May of 1982. Miguel started working at a young age. In 1985 he began working as a factory worker and living his "American Dream" by owning a home for he and his family. Miguel loved to spend time with his family and friends. He had a huge heart and beautiful personality that will be missed, but never forgotten. Miguel is survived by his wife Elizabeth León of Tulare; his sons Miguel, Gabriel and Ricardo León, all of Tulare; his father Miguel León Quiroz of Tulare; three brothers Octavio León of Tulare, Armando León and Juan León, both of México; five sisters, Carmen Perez and Margarita León, both of Yuma, Arizona, Yolanda Martin of Tulare, Elizabeth León and Blanca Leon, both of México; three grandchildren Andrew León, Emily Love León and Makayla León and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 3-8 pm, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Apostolic Assembly Church, 540 W. Kern in Tulare. Funeral services will be at 1 pm, Friday, February 8, 2013 also at Apostolic Assembly Church with burial following at North Tulare Cemetery. Arrangements are by Peers Lorentzen Funeral Service.
