Ray Chagolla "Richard" Herrera

Ray "Richard / Richie" Chagolla Herrera Our beloved Ray "Richard / Richie" Chagolla Herrera passed away on November 25, 2012 surrounded by family and friends. He had a great send off during a Sunday worship hour. Rich was born on January 26, 1956 to Rita and Jose Herrera in Riverside, Ca. He graduated from Lindsay High. He attended college at Cal State Northridge and graduated from Antioch College of Law in Washington, D.C. with an associate degree in paralegal studies. He had been a pastor of the Hanford Victory Outreach for eight years, where he started both a Men's and a Women's Residential Home in Hanford. Rich was a generous and loving individual who gave a lot of his time to serve others. His sense of humor and charming personality allowed him to reach others because he cared. He made a huge difference in people's lives and will never be forgotten. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Dolores Diaz and Josie Herrera, brothers Ralph, Lupe, Chano, John, Joe, Jesus, Frank, and Peter Herrera. His surviving family members include wife Mindy Herrera and son Brian, sisters Mercy and MaryHelen Herrera, and brothers Robert, Michael, and Lalo Herrera. He also leaves behind lots of nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at the First Baptist Church on Honolulu St, in Lindsay, Ca. at 11:00 am on Friday, Dec. 7th followed by a gravesite service at the Lindsay Cemetery at the corner of Lindmore and Foothill Streets. Webb Sanders Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
