Robert Vine "Bob" Fallert Sr.

Robert Vine Fallert Sr. "Bob" April 6, 1924 - February 10, 2013 Age of Eighty-Eight Years Robert farmed in the Woodville area for 50 years before moving to Tulare. After retiring from farming he and his wife Dallas opened two antique shops in the Lemon Cove area. Bob was an active member of the community being President of the Woodville Chamber of Commerce, past member of the Porterville Young Farmers, on the board of directors for both Sunsweet, Tule River Dryer and Gin, Woodville Elementary School and member of Tulare Co. Farm Bureau. He was a veteran of World War II, as a troop transport medic stationed at Letterman Hospital in San Francisco. He survived by his wife and soulmate Dallas; sons: Robert Fallert Jr. & wife Billie Jo; Joe Eugene Fallert & wife Elizabeth and Ted Alan Fallert & wife Margaret; brothers: Gene & Donald of Porterville; sisters: Maxine Fife & husband Dick of Porterville and Rosemary Stephenson & Husband Jim of Sacramento; grandchildren: Robert III & wife Monique of Strathmore, Michael of Susanville, Rachel & Benjamin of Michigan, Sarah, Zachary & Austin of Tulare; great grandchildren: Robert IV & Mackenzee of Strathmore and many nieces and nephews. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. The family is holding a private memorial. Remembrances may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central Calif., 351 W.
