Roberta Cleaver

Roberta Cleaver Roberta G. Cleaver passed away on February 12th 2013. She was born on August 12th 1962 in Exeter, CA. Roberta will now be reunited with her parents Robert G. Garcia and Elsie P. Garcia. She leaves behind her husband of 29 years, Anthony Cleaver, whom she will be greatly missed by. Roberta was a kind hearted and passionate woman who never let anything hold her back. She enjoyed so much in life and was always up for trying something new such as experiencing different cultures and traveling to new places. When she wasn't doing those things, she loved to keep herself busy at home with various crafts & arts like quilting, sewing, painting, and so much more. She even had a love for gardening where she knew how to make just about anything grow. Never did she once let anything hold her back and she strived so much to push herself to be the best that she could be. She even attended college at College of The Sequoias in Visalia, CA and Ohlone Community College in Fremont, CA where she was persuing a degree in Criminal Justice. Roberta was a one of a kind person. She always put others needs before hers and tried to look at the brighter side of things. She never took what she had for granted and cherished the little things in life. She even donated much of her time in Fremont to homeless shelters with the goal of trying to make someone else's day a little brighter. She will be missed by her family, friends, and those she has made an impact on. In addition to her husband, Roberta is survived by her son, Gabriel A. Cleaver and wife Stephanie of Bakersfield; two daughters Krystal C. Ayotte and husband Michael J. III of Jacksonville, NC and Heather N. Cleaver of Visalia; grandchildren Morgan T. Cleaver of Visalia, JayDenn N. Cleaver of Bakersfield, Michael J. Ayotte IV of Jacksonville, NC and KaiDenn B. Cleaver of Bakersfield; brothers Robert H. Garcia and Miguel H. Garcia, both of Exeter and Ernest H. Garcia of Visalia; nephew Josh R. Garcia of Exeter; nieces Raven Garcia of Visalia, Mariah R. Garcia and Madison F. Garcia, both of Exeter and her pet Russell Cleaver (Ragdoll Cat). Memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2013 at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 954 S. O St. in Tulare.
