Rosie Mejia Castillo Rosie Mejia Castillo, 46, of Farmersville was born to the parents Salvador and Carmen Mejia, December 1, 1966. Rosie passed away at Stanford Medical Center in Palo Alto, California after her battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on November 1, 2012. She was a homemaker and had attended school in Farmersville and graduated from Exeter High School. She is preceded in death by her parents Salvador & Carmen Mejia and her son, Robert Velasquez, Jr.; a brother-in-law, Dr. George Castaneda. Rosie is survived by her husband, Luis Castillo; daughter, Christina Castillo; sons, Anthony Baldwin and Luis Castillo, Jr. She is also survived by 3 brothers; Ralph (Frances) Mejia, Johnny (Elisa) Mejia, Louie (Yolanda) Mejia; 5 sisters; Julie (Pedro) Mejia Castellanos, Anita Mejia Castaneda, Martha Mejia Echevarria, Josephine (Mike) Mejia Kepich, and Mary Lou Baldwin. Along with 8 grandchildren. Rosie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. A wake service will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Exeter District Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel in Visalia.
