Von Chamberlain Von Chamberlain passed away in Fresno on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the age of 66, after succumbing to a terminal brain tumor. He was born on November 10, 1947, the youngest of three children to Stephen and Frances Chamberlain in Glendale, California. Von was raised in Tulare after moving from Los Angeles at a young age. He attended school at St. Aloysius and Tulare Union High School. Shortly after graduating high school he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving two years from 1966-68. During his professional career he spent over 40 years as a Radiator Technician in the central valley area. Growing up and throughout his life he always had a fondness for fast cars, Triumph & BSA motorcycles, and he spent years of his life racing both stock cars and dragsters. He is survived by his youngest son Darren Chamberlain of Salinas; two grandsons, Jonas and Ulrik Chamberlain of Salinas; two brothers, Stephen Chamberlain of Porterville and Michael Chamberlain of Tulare; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, 11:30 a.m. at Tulare District Cemetery, 900 East Kern Avenue, Tulare. Arrangements are entrusted to Miller's Tulare Funeral Home.
