Lois Ton Obituary

Lois Ton passed away in Bend, Oregon May 23, 2010, surrounded by family. She was 79. Lois was born August 19th, 1930 in Livingston, Montana to Thorval and Reba Regedal. Her family moved to Three Rivers, CA when she was a child. She graduated from Woodlake High School in 1947 and earned her BA from the California School of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, CA. Lois resided in Visalia with her husband Allan until 2003, when they moved to Bend. She loved their home among the pine trees. Lois and Allan recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. As a young adult, Lois greatly enjoyed the outdoors, hiking and fishing in the mountains of Sequoia National Park. She had a wonderful talent for restoring and refinishing antique furniture, which she did until she moved to Bend. She worked for the Tulare County Tax Assessors office for many years. She is survived by her husband, Allan Ton, and five children: Barbara Smith and husband Dennis, Tamara McKibben of Washington, Robert Regedal, Lorana Bancroft and husband Bill, and Tim Ton all of Bend, Oregon. Lois also leaves behind eight grandchild: Heidi Cooper, Jennifer Smith, Amy McKibben, Audrey Wallace, Calvin Smith, Jeff and Kyla Bancroft, and Alex Regedal; and had five great grand-children.

Lorana,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. I will always remember the times when I would go to your house. Your mom always made me feel like I was part of the family.
