Eva Zoe Kyle

Eva Zoe Kyle (Nana) Eva Zoe Kyle was born in Gilroy, California on March 20, 1921 to Herman and Betty Zamzow, and passed away at home in Tulare, California at the age of 92, on July 27, 2013. She graduated high school from Davis High School in Sacramento. She married Dean Kyle on February 21, 1942. She worked as secretary at various places, and was also a teacher's aide. She belonged to many organizations; Tulare Astronomical Society, Tulare Historical Society and Down Memory Lane Writers Group. She enjoyed playing the fipple flute and sliding down the giant slide at the Tulare County Fair. She also attended the Tulare Methodist Church. Eva is survived by daughter Lynette Kyle Burnett and husband George of Tulare; 7 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Barnes, father Herman Zamzow, stepfather Clerk Barnes, spouse Dean Kyle who passed away Dec. 4, 1990, son Curtis Kyle who passed away January 2006, brother Bill Zamzow Douglas, and cousin Charlotte Gosvenor. The family would like to thank Hospice for providing the special care for their mother. There are three words that sum up her life: active, fun loving, and charitable. Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013 at 10:00am at the Tulare District Cemetery. Arrangements by Miller Memorial Chapel.
