Angela L. Sanchez Angela L. Sanchez, 83 of Visalia, California passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012 in Visalia, California surrounded by her loving family. Angela was born in San Jose, de Buena Vista, Jalisco, Mexico on May 30, 1929 to Silvino and Maria de Jesus Ledezma. She married Guadalupe Sanchez in Jalisco, Mexico in November of 1946 and they came to Tulare, California shortly after that to make their home. As a young woman she enjoyed crocheting; and as her children came, she enjoyed cooking (her specialty was homemade tortillas) and raising her flower garden. Angela was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother who truly enjoyed caring for her family. Her grandchildren brought her great joy in life. Angela was most proud of becoming a United States citizen in 1997. She was quiet and loving yet very giving lady in many ways. Angela was especially close to her brothers and sisters-in-law. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe in October of 1965; two daughters, Ruth Sanchez in 1962 and Sara Sanchez in 2008; her brothers, Robert and David; and her sisters: Juanita, Paula, Felipa and Consuelo. Angela leaves to cherish her memory, three children: Ruben Sanchez and wife Raquel of Visalia, CA; her daughter, Mary Sanchez and husband Salvador of Kingsburg, CA and Lupe Sanchez and wife, Pauline of Visalia, CA; brothers, Angel Ledezma of Earlimart, CA and Francisco Ledezma and wife, Paula of Tulare, CA; sisters-in-law, Agueda Ledezma and Rosario Ledezma both of Tulare, CA; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 3 - 6:30 p.m. will Recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia, CA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Visalia. Burial will follow at Visalia District Cemetery.
