Anna Belle Brown Anna Belle Brown of Tulare passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday March 7, 2013. Anna Belle was born on March 5, 1921 to Elbert and Edith Brown. After high school Anna Belle went on to college and majored in business and started her life at Tucoemas Federal Credit Union in 1954 as the part-time treasurer-manager and a full time employee of Tulare County Auditor's Office. Then in 1963 became full time professional manager of Tucoemas until her retirement in 1986. On her vacations she would travel to wonderful places around the globe. Her favorite places were Alaska and Hawaii. Anna Belle was involved in many organizations such as, American Society of Women Accountants; League of Women Voters; also active in many credit union associations such as the California Credit Union League, Sequoia Chapter, and the Credit Union Executive Society. Anna Belle is survived by her two nieces Diana Wallace (William) of Porterville, Ellen Weaver (Don) of Spiro OK, and a nephew, Ken Box (Julie) of Lindsay. Anna Belle was preceded in death by her parents Elbert and Edith Brown and her sister Mary Box. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 16th 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Peers-Lorentzen Funeral Chapel, 132 West Kern Ave. in Tulare. Condolences may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
