Anna Lucille Pacheco Sept 21, 1929-June 26, 2012 Anna Pacheco passed away in Manteca, CA June 26, 2012 after a short battle with cancer. She was born September 21, 1929 in Tulare, California to Manuel and Maria Pacheco. She was a resident of Albany for 47 years. She worked for Metropolitan Life and a promotion brought her to Albany. She retired after 34 years. She was a member of St. Ambrose Parish, Berkeley and El Cerrito YLI. She was preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Maria Pacheco, her brother Msgr. Joseph Pacheco and her nephew Dwayne Pacheco. She is survived by her brother Manuel Pacheco (Jane) Visalia; sisters Mary Mendes (Louie) Tulare; Tillie Pereira Salinas; and Theresa Pacheco Manteca. She is loved by 14 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. Visitation, Rosary, and Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 1145 Gilman Street, Berkeley, beginning at 10:00am on Tues., July 3, with interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 2540 Church Lane, San Pablo, CA In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Ambrose Parish Youth Group or CCD or St. Vincent de Paul Free Dining Room, 675 23rd Street, Oakland, CA 94612-1176.
