Betty Alice Anderson Lynn Betty Alice Anderson Lynn, loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away October 8, 2012 at the age of 74. Betty was born to Art and Alice Anderson April 13, 1938, in Lindsay, California where she lived her entire life. Betty graduated from Lindsay High School in 1956 and attended College of the Sequoias where she played on the 1957-58 State Championship Tennis Team. She married L.E. Lynn on December 23, 1960, in Las Vegas, Nevada. A dedicated church secretary for most of her career, Betty worked at the Lindsay First Presbyterian Church where she was a past member, and more recently at the Exeter Methodist Church. She was involved on the board of Calvin Crest, the San Joaquin Presbytery and served devotedly on many committees. Betty was a current member of the Foothill Presbyterian Church in Porterville, where she was part of a loving church family. As an only child, she celebrated her Swedish heritage by spending time with her aunts, uncles and cousins. Betty loved being a mom and was very proud of her two daughters and grandchildren. She was a talented seamstress and crafter. She made many memories for her family going on camping trips, supporting them in their activities and making special homemade projects. She also enjoyed traveling throughout California with her husband on their touring motorcycle. Many fun times were spent in recent years with her Red Hat Society friends "The Foothill Floozies". Betty was a lady with amazing strength, faith and courage throughout her 11 year battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 49 years L.E She will be missed by her daughters Brenda Bevers (husband Ron) of Sparks, Nevada and Becky Gray (husband Joe) of Visalia as well as her two grand-children Victoria Amaral and Matthew Bevers. A Memorial service is scheduled for Friday, October 19th at 11:00 A.M. at Porterville First United Methodist Church 344 E. Morton Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the
