David James Lavers David James Lavers, 54, of Exeter born April 26, 1958, in Tulare, CA. Tragically was killed in a motorcycle accident Friday, June 8, 2012, near Shandon, CA. David was born and raised in Tulare attending Tulare Union High School, he lived in Visalia and recently moved to Exeter. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Windh of Visalia; sisters, Gay Calosso and husband, Mike of Stockton, Janet Lange and husband Curt of Tulare. In addition David is survived by his loving nieces, Brenda Pozzo and husband Stephen and their children Dominic and Santino of Stockton, Lori King and husband Jeff and their children, Cameron and Palmer of Lodi, Sherri Calosso of Pacific Palisades. Nephew, Jared Lange and wife, Brittney and daughter Giulia of Visalia and niece, Michelle Lange of Tulare. Three cousins in Canada, Alyson Jones (Michael), Leslie Lavers, Daphne Lavers-Tennyson (Rod) and the McGowan Family of Livermore and Toby Windh of Visalia and Justin Windh of Seattle. David is preceded in death by his father Dr. George D. Lavers and stepfather, Carl Windh. He had many great friends at the Elks Lodge where he was employed, they were like a second family to him. He had just become a member of the Exeter Eagles. David was quick to make friends and always had a smile. He was a great deep sea fisherman and enjoyed many trips to Morro Bay to fish with his friends. In his youth he was an accomplished Western horse rider winning many ribbons and trophies at horse shows around California. He also enjoyed BBQing, golfing, snow skiing and water sports. A celebration of life will be held at the Visalia Elks Lodge on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 11 a.m.. Info: 559-972-5887
