David W. Murray David W. Murray, age 71, passed peacefully on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, in Sacramento. Born in 1940 in St. Paul, MN, he grew up in Visalia, CA. He graduated from COS and Fresno State. He received an MA in education from Pepperdine Univ. He lived in Arroyo Grande and taught in Grover Beach for 30 years. He moved to Sacramento, CA in 1999 to write science-fiction and fantasy. Until his death, he guided tours at various State Historic Parks in the Sacramento area. He is survived by Marlene Murray, his wife of fifty years, their son, Will Murray, and his sister, Lois Feleay (David).
