Dorothy Crouse-White LVN Dorothy Crouse-White, 92, of Visalia passed away Friday, June 22, 2012. Dorothy was born in Orosi on January 17, 1920 and graduated from Visalia High School, after marrying and raising a family she returned to school and received her Associates Degree in Vocational Nursing at C.O.S. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, cooking, singing and crossword puzzles. She was a longtime member of the Ivanhoe Presbyterian Church and served as Deacon for several years. She worked as a LVN for Dr. Frank Hammond for many years and after her retirement she was a home caregiver. Dorothy will be truly missed by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred White, 2009; great-grandson, Cory D. White 2008. She is survived by her son, Doug & wife Linda White of Sonora; daughter, Janet & husband Bruce Johnson of Clayton; sisters, Eunice Frey of Woodlake and Geraldine Eslick of Escondido; brother, Carl Crouse of Woodland; grandchildren, Marc White of Tulare and Aaron White of Sonora; great-grandchildren, Vincent & Brock White of Tulare and Benjamin White of Sonora. Services will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2012, 10:00 AM at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 26, 2012, 4-7 PM at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel.
