Ed Molles, Jr. Ed Molles, Jr., age 76, passed away from a chronic illness on December 18, 2012, surrounded by his family. Ed was born in Tulare, CA, on September 1, 1936. After graduating high school in 1954, he joined the Army serving two years. He then returned to Tulare to work in his parents' grocery store, Molles Market. He then started a family with wife Becky in 1968 and started his own business, United Ceramic Tile, with business partner Danny Souza. He continued in the tile business for 40 years then retired only to do the occasional side jobs. Ed enjoyed gambling, traveling with his wife, riding his Harley, and spending time with family and friends. Ed was a member of Post 56 Am Vets and the Elks. Ed is survived by wife Becky of 44 years and children Johnny Molles (Tiffany), Kelly Murphy (William), Michael Anderson (Kizna), and Susan Meyers (Bill). Ed also has 8 grandchildren: Jack, Spencer, Kiani, Alissa, Jessica, Joey, Kenny, and Adam along with 7 great grandchildren. In addition, Ed was survived by two sisters Irene Braun and Loretta Macedo, two nieces Elaine Hollingsworth and Karen Fuller, and one nephew, Keith Haynes. Ed was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Lena Molles. His family and friends will miss him greatly. Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012, 6:00 p.m. at Miller's Tulare Funeral Home. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 125 East Pleasant Avenue, Tulare, Ca., with burial at Tulare District Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Miller's Tulare Funeral Home.
