Esther Villegas Esther Villegas was born in Tempe, Arizona on September 22, 1921 and passed away on August 28, 2012. She was married to Gregorio Z Villegas for over 50 years until his death. They established a home in Woodlake, CA where they raised their six children, Greg Jr., Bobby, Al, Art, Stella and Rudy Villegas. She enjoyed family, cooking, gardening and her birds. She was loved by everyone who knew her and was called "Grandma" by many. What a life she had, full of joy and love. Yet she endured much pain and still found the strength and happiness to go on. Her home was never empty. It was always blessed with family and friends. Esther was preceded in death by her son- Art Villegas, husband-Gregorio Villegas and son-Bobby Villegas along with many other extended family members. She is survived by her four children: sons-Greg Jr. Villegas, Al (Chris) Villegas, Rudy Villegas and daughter, Stella Lopez and daughter-in-law Alice Villegas. 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Grandma: Your legacy of love and family will be continued by us all. We would like to thank everyone for their help and prayers this past year. Visitation will be from 5 PM till 6 PM on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be held at 6 PM on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, September 3, 2012 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. Burial will be private. Condolences may be e-mailed to info@salseranddillard.com
