Francisco Castellanoz Francisco (better known as Frank) Castellanoz was born on June 8th, 1938 in Tulare, CA to Jose and Dominga Ahumada-Castellanoz. He passed suddenly on Friday, February 8th, 2013 in the late evening at Tulare Regional Medical Center at the age of 74. He was raised in Tulare and traveled up and down the valley through his youth, following the traveling farm labor jobs. He was a hard worker and found great joy in helping his parents in the support of his large family of brothers and sisters. He married on October 13, 1972 to Rosa Chavez and together they had five children. He was a diligent father and continued his hard working lifestyle to provide for his family. He worked at Gruman Olson Bodies for 23 years and retired at the age of 63. He was a humorous man that truly enjoyed the company of his family. Friends and family will likely remember his quick humor and infectious personality. He had many joys in life. He loved watching movies, western movies being his favorite. He was a huge fan of Roy Orborson and Elvis Presley. He loved telling stories and was willing and able to tell a story new or old on request. He loved long car rides and was willing to go or take anyone with him on a long car trip. He had a huge sweet tooth, his favorite dessert being ice cream. He was very social and talkative and could make friends with anyone within minutes. He was an avid church goer and had a strong faith in god. He was very encouraging to his children and grandchildren, and always believed in striving for their best. He is survived by his five children, Linda (Hernandez), Danny Castellanoz, Maritza (Munoz), Christopher Castellanoz, and Alex Castellanoz. He is also survived by his thirteen grandchldren (8 girls and 5 boys). Frank loved and cared for his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Viewing will be held from 12-6 p.m. on Thursday, February 14th 2013 at Peers Lorentzen Funeral Chapel. Rosary will be held in Frank's honor Thursday, February 14th at 6 p.m. at Peers Lorentzen Funeral Chapel in Tulare. Mass will be held on Friday, February 15th at 10 a.m. at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Tulare. Burial will be held at the North Tulare Cemetery.
