James E. Eslick Sr. Asphalt Construction Worker James Earl Eslick Sr. was born November 16, 1933 to George E. Eslick and Bertha J. Eslick in Dustin Oklahoma. He passed away August 14, 2012 in Visalia at the age of 78. He moved from Oklahoma to the small city of Farmersville around 1949 when he was about 16 years old. He resided there until he passed away. He worked for Industrial Asphalt for many years until he retired. He then opened "James Place" from home where he bought walnuts. He was befriended by many during his walnut season. James is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 50 years, Linda Eslick and son Danny Eslick. James is survived by his two daughters, Sherry Carter and Tammy Williams; his son James (Jimmy) E. Eslick Jr.; four brothers, 2 sisters-in-law and one sister all residing in Oklahoma; numerous grandkids and great grandkids. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephew, great nieces and nephews as well as many great friends. James was the best Father, Husband, Grandpa and Friend. He will be loved and deeply missed. He is Gone but not Forgotten. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at Evans Miller Guinn Exeter Chapel. Burial will be in the Exeter District Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.evansmillerguinnchapel.com. Services entrusted to Evans Miller Guinn Chapel.
